'CommonPlaceTraffic' began with a simple dream: to bring authentic Neapolitan pizza to London. Founded by the Carter family in 1985, our pizzeria started as a small, family-run spot with recipes passed down through generations.
Emily Carter, our founder, learned the craft of pizza-making while traveling across Italy, training with master pizzaiolos in Naples—the birthplace of pizza. After returning to the UK, she aimed to recreate the magic of true Italian pizza using traditional techniques and premium ingredients.
What started as a modest 12-seat pizzeria has grown into a beloved local staple, yet our dedication to quality and authenticity has never wavered. We still rely on wood-fired oven methods, prepare dough fresh daily, and source the finest ingredients available.
Today, 'CommonPlaceTraffic' remains a family-owned operation, now guided by the second generation of the Carter family. While we’ve adopted some modern innovations, the essence of our business endures: crafting delicious, authentic pizza that brings people together.
